Casey’s red-hot streak gives Tyrone a chance

TYRONE 1-16 ROSCOMMON 1-12

-

ROSCOMMON’s drive for a place in the final suffered a setback as they lost to Tyrone at Healy Park yesterday.

Damien Casey’s 13 points gives the Red Hands an outside chance of reaching the decider, but they need other results to go their way.

Ryan McKernan grabbed one of the fastest goals of the season when he finished to the net from close range with just eight seconds on the clock.

In the 21st minute Daniel Glynn sent a free into the danger area and the ball was flicked to the net by Robbie Fallon, while that man Casey continued to hit the target as Tyrone eased to victory.
