Enva Group is closing in on a deal to buy rival firm Clearcircle Environmental Ireland.
Clearcircle was sold to management by IPL Plastics (formerly known as One51) last year, though IPL retained a 25pc stake. That deal was worth around €30m.
If a sale proceeds it is likely that Clearcircle will be valued at more than that.

Because of “campaigns that spread fake or malevolent information”, Africa “is seen as a territory of non-governance, if not corruption”, Bolloré CEO Vincent Bolloré has written in a column titled ‘Should we abandon Africa?’
“People imagine chiefs of states deciding alone to give out stupendous contracts to unscrupulous financiers,” he wrote.
The French billionaire was charged by French investigators on Wednesday in a probe of possible bribes in Togo and Guinea to win port contracts. Mr Bolloré denies the charges.

AMCS, a fast-growing Limerick software group, has raised €100m in fresh funding in the largest investment deal ever completed by a private Irish technology company.
It includes €40m in cash from the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and €10m invested by Insight Venture Partners, the main existing investor in AMCS.
