Sales going out of fashion for New Look
Fashion chain New Look has swung to a full-year loss amid plunging sales on the high street and online. The retailer reported an operating loss of £74.3m (€84.2m) for the year to March 24, having made £97.6m (€110.6m) profit in the previous year. Website sales slumped by 19.2pc. Total revenue was £1.34bn (€1.51bn), down from £1.45bn (€1.52bn) year on year. The company has 10 stores in Ireland, including five in Dublin.
