Four properties left at exclusive scheme

Enderly, Dalkey, Co Dublin

-

SOME homes at Enderly, the first new development to be built in Dalkey in more than a decade, have fetched prices of €2.5m apiece, making the exclusive scheme one of the most expensive in the country.

The Cunningham Road development, which is made up of just

18 houses, is being built on the grounds of the former Enderly estate — where the father of the late playwright Hugh Leonard worked as a gardener.

There are still four properties on the market at Enderly. Two of them are two-bed houses, priced from €875,000 and

€995,000, respectively. No 2 is a 1,523-sq ft property from the Belfry style, so has two ensuite bedrooms on its second floor, a dual-aspect living room on the first floor, and a kitchen/diner/ lounge on the ground floor. No 10, which measures 1,532 sq ft, is from the Pembroke range and has a separate living room as well as a kitchen/diner/lounge on the ground floor, with two ensuite bedrooms each occupying the first and second floors.

The other two houses for sale are priced from €1.2m and

€1.25m, respectively. No 13 is a four-bed spanning 1,913 sq ft, while No 14, a three-bed, measures 1,974 sq ft.

All four houses are built from concrete and steel and have facades finished in St Ives Cream Rustica brick imported from Belgium. There is Moleanos limestone from Portugal in the window surrounds and triple-glazed Alu-Clad windows.

Each planted garden and granite patio was landscaped by local company Murphy + Sheanon, and all the homes come with two car spaces and an electric car charging point. Interior finishes include solid oak handmade kitchens from DesignHouse Dalkey with a range of German appliances, as well as sleek sanitaryware from Villeroy & Boch. The A3-rated homes are just 400m from Dalkey Dart station.

Enderly is on view by appointment.
