EACH-WAY

-

Eighteen horses will tackle the Grand National fences in this afternoon’s Becher Chase at Aintree (1.30), and I’m going to take a chance on an outsider eachway with Just A Par priced 33/1 at the time of writing. Formerly trained by Paul Nicholls, the 11-year-old has experience of the famous fences having completed the Grand National on two occasions which should stand to him, although he missed all of last season. This is his first run for James Moffatt who said he’s had some decent preparation, and he goes well on soft ground. He’s racing off his last winning mark of 146 and if retaining some of his ability, he’s got place claims at the very least.
