Bank robber drops cash in front of police

A MAN who had just robbed a bank in Maine in the US fled across four lanes of traffic before slipping on ice and dropping his gun and the money in front of a state police special agent.

Police said locals chased the cash around a restaurant car park after a gust of wind swept it away while the man was arrested by the off-duty officer yesterday.
