Adidas predators.

2. What’s your pre-training routine?

Warm-up routine in the gym, maybe a coffee too.

3. You’re in charge of the aftermatch tunes, what goes on first?

I’m banned from controllin­g the tunes unfortunat­ely, so that wouldn’t happen.

4. Imagine a world that you’re not a rugby player – what’s your job?

Horologist.

5. Stranded on a desert island, what three things do you take?

Phone, keys and wallet.

6. Which team-mate would you want with you on the island?

James Lowe – he has a loud voice to attract attention.

7. What was your favourite book as a child?

Cat in the Hat (aka James Ryan).

8. What’s your first sporting memory as a player or spectator and what do you remember from it?

Playing one-on-one rugby in the living room with my brother.

9. You have one moment from your career to do over. What is it?

Losing that Champions Cup semi-final to Clermont two seasons ago. Would love another crack at it.

10. What rugby skill would you most like to possess?

A left foot spiral bomb!

11. Favourite boxset/TV series?

Ozark.

12. What current player in your position do you most admire?

Sam Lewis.

13. Who has been the biggest influence on your rugby career?

My dad. He always supported me to be the best that I could be and [encouraged me] to enjoy my rugby.

14 What was your first car?

Ford Fiesta.

15. What sporting event makes your bucket list?

The Masters.

16. One minute to go in the Champions Cup final, you’re three points down and you have a penalty in front of the posts… what do you do?

Ask the sideline for my kicking tee! Roger Waters.

18. Tell us something interestin­g about yourself.

I play the guitar. Badly, I might add.

19. What’s your own best memory playing rugby?

Playing with my brother Ciarán for Leinster.

20. Who’ll win the Gallagher Premiershi­p in England and the Top 14 in France?

Exeter and Toulouse.
