Close to the north-western end of the street, near Temple Hill, are clustered a few pairs of semi-detached 20th century houses, and even among those, No18 and its conjoined twin No20 are unique.

Dating from the Edwardian era, they’re made of warm red brick, with roof tiles to match, and No18 still has its original front door and timber sash windows too.
