MY PERFECT SUNDAY

- By Gethin Jones

Due to the nature of my work, no two Sundays are the same because I could be filming anywhere.

But a great Sunday would be like the one I’ve just had. It was the opening of The Ned in Central London and, wow, what a place! After dinner and drinks overlooking St Paul’s on Saturday night I woke up in their hotel with a slightly fuzzy head.

So after a quick blast in the gym I treated myself to a full English breakfast, but what turned up was FOUR English breakfasts! The guy misheard me! I did my best.

I wandered to the river with a bunch of friends to watch the 40,000 heroes run the London Marathon.

About 10 of us headed back to The Ned for Sunday lunch and I rolled home thinking I didn’t need to eat again for a week.

After a day like that there’s nothing better than slumping in front of the telly with my girlfriend.

I’m very close to my family in Wales so I always try to speak to them on a Sunday night.
