Cancer fight Shannon wins major battle

ACTRESS Shannon Doherty has revealed she’s in remission from cancer.

The former Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210 star was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 and had chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Writing to her fans, the 46-year-old said: “Moments. They happen. Today was and is a moment.

“What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react. Good news? YES. Overwhelming.

“As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial.

“I am blessed, I know that. But for now .... remission. I’m going to just breathe. #cancerslayer.”
