FELLAINI MELTDOWN

-

from Atkinson at the final whistle. Fellaini picked up a yellow card for an 84th-minute trip on City striker Sergio Aguero – and received a straight red just 16 seconds later for headbutting the Argentine after fouling him again. United boss Jose Mourinho (above) accused Aguero of faking injury, after the goalless draw. And Fellaini also felt he had been conned. An eyewitness in the tunnel said: “Fellaini was in tears and stamping his feet. He was screaming, ‘I want to know why, I want to know why’, as he stormed towards the ref’s dressing room. “He was fortunate that some stewards managed to restrain him before team-mates ushered him back into United’s dressing room.” Fellaini will now miss United’s next three games. United declined to comment on the matter.
