JT: I WANT TO PLAY ON
JOHN TERRY rejected a new deal at Chelsea because he wants first-team football.
The Blues skipper has spent most of the season on the bench as Antonio Conte’s side edge towards the Premier League title.
And the 36-year-old, who made his Blues debut 19 years ago, turned down the chance of a new 12-month contract because he feels fit enough to play on for another year – not just have a bit-part role.
West Ham, Bournemouth and West Brom are all ready to offer Terry (above) a chance to extend his top-flight career and he will also be tempted by a lucrative move to China.
