Hotel lifetime ban over bad burger review

-

AN angry hotel owner banned a customer who posted a bad review of a “soggy” beef burger.

Claire Butterfield, 35, claimed her €12 meal was a “mess” and sent it back after a few mouthfuls.

The IT worker then posted a review on the hotel’s Facebook page.

She said: “I’ve never heard of anyone being barred for life for a bad review and complaining.”

Adrian Vodden, 49, boss of the Revelstoke Hotel, in Bridlington, North Yorks, accused her of trying to get a freebie. He said: “She was barred because of the way she complained. She was offered an alternative but there was no pleasing her.”
