‘Uncoupling’ trip for telly Nick and wife
Nick and Jessica TV’S Nick Knowles has hinted he’s “consciously uncoupling” from his wife.
The DIY SOS host spent the bank holiday with ex Jessica and son Eddie, two, echoing Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s split.
Nick, 54, said later: “When they said they were consciously uncoupling I had no idea what it meant. I like the concept – to be as amicable as possible.”
After their weekend at pals the Earl and Countess Bathurst’s Cirencester estate, Jessica, 29 – who beat cervical cancer last year – admitted her relief at the pair remaining civil.
She said: “It does make life a lot simpler.” The couple split twice last year.
And Nick had a brief fling with Emmerdale’s Gemma Oaten while they were apart. Guy Hedger
