Greipel’s feeling in the pink

ANDRE GREIPEL sprinted to his seventh Giro d’italia stage and the leader’s pink jersey yesterday.

The German passed Aussie Caleb Ewan, whose chances were ruined when his left shoe came off its clip, at the end of 137-mile stage between Olbia and Tortoli in Sardinia. “It was not an easy day, six hours on the bike,” Greipel said.
