BERARDI’S IN FRAME

CHELSEA are ready to make a £20million move for Italian midfield star Domenico Berardi.

The 22-year-old (below) is at Sassuolo after he was sold by Juventus for £8m.

Italian Serie A leaders Juve – who look certain to be in the Champions League Final after their 2-0 win in Monaco in the first leg of the semifinal last week – have a buy-back clause of £15m.

But Blues boss Antonio Conte sees Berardi as the perfect addition to his squad for next season.

And he knows him well, as Conte – in his time as national manager – called up Berardi for the European Championship qualifiers in 2015.
