SUBSTITUTE Jack Marriott’s late double saw Luton Town secure fourth place with a 3-1 win over Morecambe.

Luton went in front after 29 minutes when Dan Potts’ header was blocked on the line and Isaac Vassell tapped in.

However, Morecambe levelled when Scott Cuthbert brought down Paul Mullin in the penalty area and Michael Rose scored from the spot.

Tarique Fosu scored twice as Colchester beat Yeovil 2-0 – but it was not enough to fire them into the play-offs.

Stevenage missed out on a place in the play-offs after a 3-0 defeat to Accrington, who scored through Billy Kee (two) and a Seamus Conneely penalty.

Mansfield’s slim play-off hopes ended with a 2-2 draw at Crawley.

The Stags let slip a two-goal lead given to them when Joel Byrom set up Danny Rose to score, and Matt Green helped the ball on to Ben Whiteman to net. Dean Cox and Jordan Roberts replied for Crawley.

Chris Dagnall hit a hat-trick as Crewe Alexandra drew the curtain down on a disappointing campaign with a 4-1 win over Barnet at Gresty Road.

George Cooper tucked home Crewe’s fourth after Barnet’s Curtis Weston had reduced the arrears.

Scott Kashket secured the only goal in Wycombe Wanderers’ win over Cambridge, but it was not enough to earn them a place in the play-offs.
