Pippa covers 6 s-miles in the first E-type Jag
NEWLYWED Pippa Middleton gives a royal-style wave as she begins married life with a smile in a classic vintage motor. Husband James Matthews, 41, drove the six miles from church to their wedding reception at her parents’ house in a priceless green 1961 E-type Jaguar - the first ever made. Pippa, 33, had earlier been driven to St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berks, with her father Michael in a 1951 black and grey Jaguar MKV. To keep the Jaguar theme going, her sister Kate, 35, and their pageboys and bridesmaids – including Prince George and Princess Charlotte – arrived in two light grey Jaguar MKIX’S. James turned up at church with friends in a vintage Land Rover. Other guests were ferried to the reception in a fleet of 50 posh motors.
