Saudis’ hair ban is Trumped
President and (inset) Melania yesterday THE Trumps flew into more controversy on arrival in Saudi Arabia yesterday – as First Lady Melania’s hair was uncovered.
Husband Donald called it an “insult” when her predecessor Michelle Obama did the same on a visit in 2015.
President Trump later signed multi-billiondollar deals with Saudi, where 15 of the 19 9/11 attackers came from. Today he will make a speech to try to repair his image with Muslims after his bid to stop them entering the US.
Unlike Barack Obama, he is not expected to highlight human rights. His first tour is eclipsed by his firing of FBI chief James Comey, who has agreed to testify to a Senate committee.
