1D star’s rap on knuckles from Jay Z
Liam Payne ONE Direction star Liam Payne has revealed he was sent flying across a room by Jay Z’s bouncer.
Speaking on the Graham Norton Show, Payne said he tried to befriend the rapper at a New York bash.
But despite his global fame with One Direction, it seemed Jay Z had little time for the 23-year-old.
He said: “I went to lean in to speak to him, but you can’t lean in to speak to Jay Z. You’re not allowed to.
“His bodyguard just shoved me and I went flying across the room.”
And he didn’t have any luck when he tried to meet P Diddy the same night.
He reached out to shake the star’s hand, but Diddy stared at him and laughed in his face “with the longest handshake ever”.
