Terror tips on net messages
JIHADISTS swapped bomb tips over the internet just 72 hours before Salman Abedi’s attack.
Islamic State fanatics have been using the encrypted Telegram network to recruit bombers and to distribute bomb-making manuals.
An undercover Sunday Mirror reporter gained access and discovered one group – set-up just three days before Abedi struck – was sharing instructions for making primers for explosives as well as triggers for roadside bombs.
A source said: “It’s horrifying to think these people are able to trade tips on how to kill and maim innocent victims.”
One document we accessed was called the Jihadist Cookbook and contained instructions on making urea nitrate – an explosive using fertilizers.
A string of sick, celebratory messages appeared on the network in the wake of the Manchester attack.
