Gunn in Wagner’s sights ...if Pep can find a keeper

- SIMON MULLOCK

HUDDERSFIELD want Manchester City keeper Angus Gunn on a loan deal.

Terriers boss David Wagner will seek to take the England Under-21 star (above) for next season – even if he fails to win promotion.

Huddersfield are expecting current on-loan keeper Danny Ward to return to Liverpool, but their chances of getting Gunn, 21, on a similar deal hinge on Pep Guardiola recruiting a keeper, after allowing Willy Caballero to go.

If Huddersfield beat Reading tomorrow at Wembley, Wagner will make a £10million offer for Etihad midfielder Aaron Moy, after the Australian’s impressive year on loan with the Terriers.
