Nice Dai’s don’t win

- BY GRAHAM THOMAS

CHRIS COLEMAN has warned Wales’s opponents, “It’s no more Mr Nice Dai.”

His team are four points behind the Republic of Ireland and Serbia, who they face next in a crunch qualifier in Belgrade.

“We are far too honest, too nice,” Coleman said. “We can’t do enough for teams when they come to Wales.

“We took 4,000 fans to Austria but they were stuck so high up in the stands, there were planes flying lower than they were. In Ireland, they banned our musical instruments. Yet inside the stadium, all you could hear was Irish music.

“We will go to Serbia and be faced with players who have a coldness about them. We have to take a leaf out of their book.”
