House found for homeless Arena champ

- BY JOHN KELLY

A HOMELESS hero who cradled injured victims in last month’s Manchester Arena terror attack has been given a house to rent after £50,000 was raised.

Chris Parker is being helped by homeless charity Booth Centre to make best use of the cash.

Businessman Michael Johns set up a fundraising web page for Chris with a €1,200 target – it raised €60k. But he was trolled online when Chris was still seen on the streets.

Chris’s mum Jessica said: “He’s got a house, but he is hanging around the streets as that’s his community.

“Michael doesn’t deserve any of this. No one is trying to steal the money, everyone is trying to help Chris.”

Suicide bomber Salman Abedi killed 22 people in the attack on May 22.
