has unveiled the concept for the exclusive Cirque du Soleil shows on its next-gen 5,700-passenger flagship MSC Meraviglia.

Viaggio will be a ‘’poetic adventure into the world of colour’’, while Sonor will ‘’take guests on an auditory adventure’’.

Each show will offer a bespoke cocktail or dinner experience for just 413 guests and will be staged in the €20m Carousel Lounge, with special rigging for the shows.

The 167,600 gross tonnage Meraviglia was christened at Le Havre in France last weekend and is now sailing Western Med itineraries from Genoa, Italy. The shows will be performed twice a night on the week-long cruise. msccruises.co.uk
