Shaneshill’s French hope

WILLIE MULLINS relies on Shaneshill as he bids to win the French Champion Hurdle for a fifth time at Auteuil.

He warmed up for today’s event with victory in the Grade 2 Prix le Barka at Auteuil last month. EPSOM Oaks heroine Enable is set to tackle the Irish equivalent.

Next month’s Classic has been put forward as the likely target for John Gosden’s charge (above) following her impressive defeat Of Rhododendron.
