Efindsvaweay IN CAVS MIRACLE

- KEITH WEBSTER Sport 1

CLEVELAND @ GOLDEN STATE

THERE is not much Lebron James has failed to achieve in his recordbreaking 14-year career.

But after another dominant performance on Friday night, James has his eye on the seemingly impossible.

No team has ever won the NBA Finals after losing the first three matches of the sevengame series.

James’ 31 points against Golden State, coupled with 40 from Kyrie Irving, saw the Cleveland Cavaliers trounce the Warriors 137-116 in Game 4.

Now the teams head back to Oakland for Game 5 tomorrow night. Cleveland can’t afford any slip-ups and they will need more of the James magic that saw a breathtaking basket on Friday when he caught his own pass off the backboard and slammed it home.

The Cavs and Warriors have beaten each other once in the past two NBA Finals, with Cleveland doing it last year on Golden State’s court.

They came from 3-1 down to clinch the title in Game 7 and James is growing weary of doing things the hard way.

He said: “It causes too much stress. I’m stressed out. We keep doing this every year.

“But at the end of the day we have some resilient guys.

“The Warriors have championship DNA – and we do as well.”
