Hewitt home from hospital in next week
JAMES Hewitt is set to be released from hospital after recovering from a heart attack and stroke.
Princess Diana’s former lover was fighting for his life after falling ill almost seven weeks ago but is now “doing much better”, friends revealed.
A source said: “He’s been sat up in bed, fully dressed.
“He is even wearing a shirt and tie. He has had enough of being in hospital and is making that known to the staff. He is still on antibiotics but is expected out in the next week.”
The Sunday Mirror revealed in early May how the ex-army officer, 58, needed emergency surgery after having a heart attack at his Devon home.
It is understood he was waiting to see an NHS consultant for treatment.
