CHINA CRISIS OVER TERRY

JOHN TERRY is set to cash in on a bitter battle between the two Chinese owners of Aston Villa and Birmingham.

Chelsea’s former skipper (above) is at the centre of a tug-of-war between the two after a game of offer and counter-offer kicked-off.

Birmingham boss Harry Redknapp was leading the race for out-of-contract Terry, 36. But now Steve Bruce has upped the ante and Villa have slapped more money on the table.

The ball is now in Birmingham’s court with neither owner wanting to lose face and no decision is now expected until the middle of next week.
