Cashing in as Clooney tips with tequila

- BY SHARON FEINSTEIN

GEORGE Clooney was so happy with his meal he donated signed tequila bottles to the restaurant – and the owner is quids in.

The star sold his tequila brand for €915million this week but not before doodling on bottles for Da Ivo boss Giovanni Fracassi.

Giovanni said: “The bottles and sketches he made are now valuable. If I sold just one of my gifts from George I’d make more profit than we do in a year.”

A new dad to twins, George, 56, held his stag do in the Italian restaurant in Venice. Earlier this year, artist Damien Hirst gave a sketch worth €285,000 on a napkin to Giovanni.
