Euromillions fever strikes in Donegal
Small town winner A RURAL community is celebrating after a local shop sold a €500,000 Euromillions Plus ticket in Friday night’s draw.
With a population of just over a thousand people, the residents of Ramelton, near Letterkenny in Co Donegal, have descended on Whoriskey’s Eurospar Store to check their slips.
The winning Euromillions Plus numbers were 16, 17, 43, 47 and 49.
Owner of the store John Whoriskey said: “The majority of our customers are local and there are also a lot of holiday homes in the area so who knows who it is?”
