Boothroyd on Preston wanted list

AIDY BOOTHROYD has emerged as a candidate to succeed Simon Grayson at Preston.

Grayson has left to take charge of Sunderland, and England Under-21 boss Boothroyd (left) could step in at Deepdale. The 46-year-old led Watford to the Premier League via the play-offs back in 2006.
