Three hurt in US shooting

THREE people have been injured during a shooting at a US nightclub.

The gunfire broke out at Club Empire in South Carolina early yesterday.

The building was surrounded by officers with a police cordon as detectives probed the area.

Deputy Lieutenant Ron Ramsey, from the Gaffney Police Department, said: “We did have a shooting a a local club last night.

“Three injured. This is not being investigated as a terrorist event.”
