Stone happy males took wage parity

OSCAR winner Emma Stone has revealed the only way she received the same pay as her male co-stars is by them taking voluntary pay cuts.

The La La Land star said women in Hollywood are still being paid 20% less “at best” for the same roles.

The 28-year-old added: “In my career I’ve needed male costars to take a pay cut so I may have parity with them.

“And that’s something they do for me, they feel it’s what’s right and fair. That’s something that’s also not discussed.”

Emma made the revelation to tennis legend Billie Jean King, who she plays in tennis flick, Battle Of The Sexes.
