Royal Box paved in gold

THERE was an Olympic flavour in the Royal Box with a glut of gold medals – mostly provided by Mr & Mrs cyclists Jason and Laura Kenny.

Adding to the 10 gold gongs that the Kennys have between them were Nicola Adams and swimmer Adam Peaty before Andy Murray stole the show, given permission to take a bow while wearing his tracksuit, breaking dress code rules.
