Fishing boats blaze in Java
SMOKE rises up from the blaze of traditional fishing boats in Indonesia yesterday.
Three people were injured after the 18 wooden vessels caught alight in Pati.
Fire services struggled to put out the billowing blaze at the riverside port on the northern coast of Java island.
National Disaster Management Agency spokesman said: “We are still trying to put out the fire so that it doesn’t burn more boats.”
