Egypt resort knifeman sat with victims

-

THE Egyptian man who stabbed two German tourists to death sat and spoke to them before producing a large kitchen knife.

Abdel-rahman Shaaban, 29, then fled the scene in Hurghada, chased by workers at the Red Sea resort and security guards.

He rushed into the hotel next door where he injured four female tourists.

Shaaban shouted at pursuers: “Stay back, I am not after Egyptians.”

They eventually caught up with him, disarmed and pinned him down and later handed him over to police.

University graduate Shaaban stabbed the women in the face, neck and feet.
