Donal after accident SATURDAY Kitchen host Donal Skehan sliced his finger live on air – moments after telling viewers how to chop safely.
The presenter, 31, was helping chef Jun Tanaka, 45, prepare a barbecue on the rooftop of the BBC1 studio when he cut his finger open with a knife.
Looking shaken, he told viewers: “We’ve just cut my finger, and that’s OK because this is live television and very sharp knives. We’re fine. I’ll crack on.”
As Donal wrapped his hand in a tea towel, guest star Julian Clary, 58, took a peek at the injury, and said: “You poor thing! Are you feeling faint?”
