Wembley ban for fake scarf rogue trader
A PENSIONER has been banned from going anywhere near Wembley Stadium for a year after flogging fake Chelsea and Spurs scarves.
Eric Williams, 74, of Chelsea, West London, was handed an exclusion order and told to pay more than €1,370 after defying an earlier ban.
Under the exclusion order – the first of its kind – the rogue street trader is banned from the London borough of Brent.
Tom Miller, of Brent council, said: “Football fans come to Wembley to support their teams and enjoy a memorable day out, not be ripped off by rogue traders.”
