Don’t Sinc Steve, you can swim!

SCOTT SINCLAIR last night urged Steven Caulker to join him at Celtic.

The troubled QPR defender is on Brendan Rodgers’ radar having worked together at Swansea City in 2011.

Sinclair was also part of that side and believes the English centre-back would be a terrific signing.

Caulker has suffered off-field problems recently but Rodgers admitted last week he might be willing to offer the 25-year-old a fresh start at Parkhead.

Now Sinclair, who was crowned Scotland’s Player of the Year in his first season at Celtic, wants to see his mate in Glasgow.

The winger, who bagged his side’s first goal in Friday night’s Champions League qualifying tie against Linfield in Belfast, said: “Steven would be a great signing for us.

“The manager obviously knows him well from being at Swansea.

“He had an amazing season there and hopefully he can get his career back on track.

“This would be a great club for him to be at. I’m sure he looks at myself and see that I was also at a crossroads in my career.”
