Let’s go retro in sleek chic

Zara captures spirit of the 70s..

-

THAT 70s Show! Top high street store Zara has just launched its retro pre-autumn-winter 2017 collection and we want it all. The flamboyant spirit of the era was seen on the AW17 catwalks everywhere from Miuccia Prada to Marc Jacobs.

Think big, belted coats, retro wallpaper graphics and a colour palette of tobacco and orange.

The Spanish retail giant has followed suit with a gorgeous collection that boasts slinky midi dresses, bold trenches and draped separates.

We also love the burgundy suit from the could-be-designer collection which will freshen up your work wardrobe. Leggings are also having their moment in the fashion spotlight again.

Zara has embraced the trend with shiny, bold disco hues and tons of loud florals, as seen at Balenciaga SS17, that are begging to be mixed, matched and clashed.

We’re still dreaming about Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent’s crystal diamante disco slouchy boot, despite the price tag of almost €9,000.

Thankfully, Zara has filled the void with its sexy sateen boot that comes in navy blue, burgundy and Wonder Woman red, and at €79.95, they are just a fraction of the price.
