Gun victim ‘still serious’
A MAN shot in a ganglandstyle hit remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
The victim, who has no involvement in crime, is being treated at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, Co Louth.
He was ambushed in the driveway of his home in Stamullen, Co Meath, by a lone gunman wearing a balaclava who fired eight shots on Thursday night.
The victim was hit in the elbow and stomach and was still conscious when paramedics arrived.
A blue Seat Leon was later found with a handgun on the passenger seat.
