Fourth biker dies on roads in car smash

A CRASH claimed the life of yet another motorcyclist on our roads yesterday.

Gardai are investigating the tragic smash which happened at Cloonchair, Mohill in Co Leitrim.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was killed when his bike was in collision with a car at 11.20am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Sligo University Hospital where a post-mortem was due to take place.

The car driver was not injured.

He is the fourth biker killed in a week after two men died in Limerick on July 29 and one was killed in Dublin the next day.
