Child abuse text spotted during flight

A PASSENGER on a US plane is being hailed a hero after police say she caught a fellow traveller texting about sexually abusing children.

The woman alerted the flight crew after seeing messages on the man’s smartphone, leading detectives to a home where they rescued two children aged five and seven.

Police arrested Michael Kellar, 56, when the plane landed and later detained Gail Burnworth, 50, who was allegedly sexually abusing the two children.

Investigators claim that Kellar was using his phone in plain sight of others when the brave passenger spotted his texts.
