CANTERBURY CRUSADERS used all their guile to land an eighth Super Rugby title with a 25-17 victory over South Africa’s Lions at Ellis Park.

Tries from Seta Tamanivalu, Jack Goodhue and then Kieran Read, after Kwagga Smith was sent off on 39 minutes, extended their record as the competition’s most successful team.
