RAGING Jon Daly last night branded Brendan Rodgers a DISGRACE and labelled his comments on Hearts disgusting.

The Jambos interim boss left the Celtic gaffer (pictured left) without a name following his team’s 4-1 defeat at Parkhead on the opening day of the Premiership season.

In an astonishing blast at Rodgers, the Tynecastle coach accused him of being disrespectful and says he’s clueless about how Hearts are run as a club.

After Ian Cathro was sacked as manager last week, Rodgers was sympathetic towards him but questioned the structure he was working within.

The Hoops boss also queried why the likes of Kyle Lafferty and Christophe Berra were signed to fit into Cathro’s preferred 3-4-3 formation.

But a furious Daly slated Rodgers and told him to keep his nose out of Hearts’ business.

He said: “I thought Brendan’s comments were absolutely disgusting. Disgraceful.

“A manager of his calibre should know better. I followed Brendan’s career when he was at Liverpool.

“Not once did I hear him make a comment about the structures at Man United, Chelsea or Man City.

“But all of a sudden he comes to Celtic and thinks it’s acceptable to talk about the structure of our football club?”
