HIBS THRILL AT IBROX

-

HIBERNIAN came from behind to beat 10-man RANGERS 3-2 in a pulsating but ill-tempered clash at Ibrox.

Gers’ Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos scored after just two minutes (right) before striker Simon Murray levelled.

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack was shown a straight red card in the 35th minute. Hibs took the lead soon after with a James Tavernier own goal.

Midfielder Vykintas Slivka drove in a third in the 65th minute before Tavernier reduced the deficit with a header.

HEARTS racked up their first points of the season thanks to an Esmael Goncalves cracker at KILMARNOCK.

Goncalves and Killie defender Kirk Broadfoot were then sent off.

HAMILTON secured their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Neil Mccann’s DUNDEE. Darian Mackinnon opened the scoring, with Steven Boyd making it 2-0. Dougie Imrie scored from the spot to seal the home rout.

ABERDEEN held on for all three points at ROSS COUNTY, who got off to a flier with a second minute goal from Craig Curran.

Mark Reynolds equalised and Shay Logan headed home to win 2-1.

Michael O’halloran grabbed a double in a 4-1 home win for ST JOHNSTONE against a MOTHERWELL side who finished with eight men.
