Julian is still missing as his mum recovers from surgery

The heartbreak­ing picture was shared as the tragic seven-yearold’s devastated dad Andrew arrived in Barcelona.

Pharmacist Fouad Bakkali – who shielded 50 people in his shop – told how wounded Jumarie was brought in for safety by a police officer and begged for news of her boy.

As Mr Bakkali tried to help the injured mum, with leg, back and head wounds, she pleaded: “Where is my son?” He added: “She was asking all the time about her little boy.”

Julian, who was born in Kent before moving to Sydney three years ago, had travelled to the Catalan city with mum, known as Jom, leaving Andrew behind to work. He was still officially “missing” last night.

Police dismissed reports he’d been found in hospital.
