Seven knifed in ISIS attack
THE Islamic State group has claimed it was behind a knife attack in Russia in which seven people were wounded yesterday.
The attacker, who was in his 20s, stabbed passersby in the city of Surgut, east of Moscow, before being shot dead by police.
The victims were taken to hospital and it is believed two were critical.
A Russian Investigations Committee spokeswoman described the incident as “attempted murder”.
