The locks go flying as singersongwriter Ella Eyre throws herself into her performance at V.

Ella, 23, revealed she is smitten with a new man – a manager “who gets my world”.

She said: “It’s a comfortable, relaxed situation. It’s important to have people who ground you and live in a normal world, but he’s a manager so he gets my world too. He’s not an artist so it works well.”

Her new song Ego is about her exes, who she says “are all egotistical bankers”. I’ve amended that last word by just one letter. Madness frontman Suggs and grime star Skepta, below, have written a song together. Suggs, above, tells me: “I bumped into Goldie and he said Skepta was a big fan, so we got in the studio and made this song. I’d like to release it. I can relate to grime, I like it.” Madness performed at V and Suggs joined Rudimental on stage. They are also set for The House of Common festival later this month. And Suggs says he still goes on benders, revealing: “One time I lost my phone, my keys, my family, I ended up gatecrashing Primal Scream’s set.” Legend.
